About one week ago I received a very cool gift from a repeat client of mine. I’ve had the extreme pleasure to photograph Ashi and Suki twice in the past year and the most recent time was in our new hi-key studio. See aren’t they adorable?!!!!!
Well, their human, the also very cool Val, called me up and said she wanted to stop by and give me something. Intrigued, I said sure come on by! The gift was a bottle of red wine from Mutt Lynch Winery. But what makes it especial cool is the label, which features a photo of Ashi; one of mine! How cool is that?
I look forward to drinking the nice red wine inside, but I’m keeping the bottle in my studio permantely.

Since we had our grand opening of the new hi-key portrait studio in October, I’ve been keeping busy. I thought it might be fun to share some on my recent clients.

It is always a sad day when I learn of the passing of one of my clients and this week I learned that Murray the cat from DogTime.com lost his fight with cancer. I photographed Murray in August and ironically it was ‘Smile for a Cure’ session because the staff at DogTime.com wanted to donate money to the cause. He was sweet elder cat who, while obviously not thrilled with my sticking a camera in his face, put up with it good naturedly. On dogtime.com there is a very nice article about Murray, I include the link for those of you who want to know more about him and the folks at dogtime.com who rescued him. For me, I’m glad I had the chance to meet Murray.
It is that time of year again and we are gearing up for our holiday mini-sessions. This year we’ve partnered with TinyPrints.com to offer you a great selection of holiday cards at affordable prices.
Holiday mini-sessions begin October 15th and run through the end of November. The cost is $50 for a 30 minute studio or on-location session and you will receive one image from the session to use for your card. The cost of greeting cards is not included in the price as you will purchase your cards directly from TinyPrints.com. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi yesterday. We had a great day meeting all of you. Best of all we raised $177 for Hopalong Animal Rescue in Oakland.
