meet cyndi

I am a Bay Area native (does being born in Seattle count?) who has long been enamored with the natural beauty abounding in this region. Regularly visiting the Bay Area’s scenic spots on trips with my parents and grandparents, I soaked in the stunning visual variety. In high school, a photography class sparked my interest in landscapes. Decades later when the digital age presented photographers with an exciting new tool set, I started snapping anything and everything that caught my eye. The leap from flora to fauna occurred when I began shooting thousands of pictures of my own pets, friends’ pets, and animals in nature.

My eye is drawn to the qualities that we love about our pets. My aim is to capture what makes them who they are. Is your dog a cuddler or a ball chaser? Does your cat love a belly scratch, or prefer chasing toy mice? Their enduring expressions of joy and love are what I am after.
