Well, it is the final week of Project 52 for 2011. I’ve been very remiss lately and not participating regularly, but I got it together for this week’s challenge of ‘circles’. Any circle would do, so here you have one of my favs, Ashi with her much loved Frisbee.
Good capture if I do say so myself!
Enjoy all and Happy New Year!

Let’s see what Jenny Froh http://jennyfroh.com/blog has for us this week!
About one week ago I received a very cool gift from a repeat client of mine. I’ve had the extreme pleasure to photograph Ashi and Suki twice in the past year and the most recent time was in our new hi-key studio. See aren’t they adorable?!!!!!

Well, their human, the also very cool Val, called me up and said she wanted to stop by and give me something. Intrigued, I said sure come on by! The gift was a bottle of red wine from Mutt Lynch Winery. But what makes it especial cool is the label, which features a photo of Ashi; one of mine! How cool is that?
I look forward to drinking the nice red wine inside, but I’m keeping the bottle in my studio permantely.
Thanks Val, you rock!
If you want a custom bottle of wine, check out their website and if you need a good photo for it, give me a call!

I’ve been playing with a new toy the past few days. I’m a techie geek sometimes and will admit to getting obsessed with new gadgets and software. I have just started using Animoto to create DVD slideshows for my clients and I’m having a lot of fun creating them. So here is my latest, Sophie the very, very sweet pit/sharpie mix I had a session with couple of weeks ago. Enjoy.
Since we had our grand opening of the new hi-key portrait studio in October, I’ve been keeping busy. I thought it might be fun to share some on my recent clients.
Sit back, turn up the volume and Enjoy!
Today I have a very sweet pair to share with you; Rex and Buffy the Cocker Spaniels. I’m sorry to say this isn’t my typical sneak peak as my session was a bit of an emergency; you see Rex had late stage cancer. I’m even sorrier to have to say that he lost his battle with cancer yesterday. What was obivous to me in the short time we had togehter was that Rex and Buffy adore their humans and Rex was still enjoying the moments he could. Whether that was sniffing the grass or barking at the dreaded skateboarders.
I am very glad to have spent a glorious fall afternoon on the UC Berkeley campus with Rex, his pal Buffy and their humans, Jeff and Melissa. I know Rex will be very much missed, but I hope they all find peace in the end to his suffering.
Please meet Rex (smoother coat) and Buffy (curlier coat).
