On the list of things that I have dropped off my list recently is my Project 52 postings – “bad Cyndi!”.  So, in order to catch up I am not only posting this weeks theme, but I’m also going back 3 weeks and posting those too.

Hope you all enjoyed your turkey day!

Week 38 – Primary colors.  I picked green.  Doesn’t Kip look cute!

Week 36 – Personalize it.  I choose this photo becuase I thought the expression on Guero’s human was so sweet.  She loves that boy!

Now I feel better having caught up.  I promise to be better in the future!  OK, let’s see what Steph Skardal has for us this week.

Lily would like to remind everyone not to overindulge today.  Be kind to your tummy and don’t forget that dogs like turkey too!

This past weekend I drove out to Alameda and met Sophie and her humans.  She is a very mellow and sweet pit/lab/shar pei mix.  Beautiful dog, great personality and such a smooth coat I couldn’t stop petting her. Heidi and Brian rescued her back in February from Oakland Animal Services when at the time she was about a year old.  They totally scored a terrific dog and she was a great model too.  She was mellow, but wanted to play fetch with me.  She was treat motivated, but well behaved and she knows how to focus.  Dare I say a pet photographer’s dream.  Check this girl out!

Back in September you may remember me posting a sneak peak of Charlie and Peanut, two little dachshunds with big personalities.  Well, a couple of weeks ago I had their housemates, Riley and Guinness, in the studio for their turns at pet stardom.  One thing all 4 have in common?, plenty of frenetic energy.  These little guys were all over the studio having a grand ole time snarfing up the treats and having a moment in front of the lens.  Today’s sneak peak in the series of catching up I’m doing – two little bundles of energy.

Well, I’ve been very remiss in updating the blog recently.  I’ve been super busy in the studio and have fallen way behind on my sneak peaks and updates.  So, I’m going to load a flurry of photos in the next couple of days.  I wish I could show you all the cuties who have been in my studio lately, but some of them are secrets.  In fact I had 6 dogs in the studio in the past few weeks all of which are holiday gifts (the photos, not the dogs).  Their humans will be pleased as these were some seriously cute dogs, but alas I can say no more or I’ll give it away.

First, up today is Guero this totally adorable and friendly pit mix.  He was a little on the shy side and didn’t want to stand in front of the studio lights unless his humans stood along side him, but we got to playing ball and eating treats and I think he had a good time.  He was handsome, sweet and gave out kisses!  Love me some pittie love!
