So we have reached the 21st week of Project 52 and there have been some really great themes and photos from all the participants. I’ve truly enjoyed the challenge. This week the theme is repetition and my goal was to find a repeating element or theme for a photo. When I saw this bench I knew it would make a great background for little Regina to stand against. She does this incredibly cute thing with her paw when standing still.

OK, now off to see what Clarie Baxter at Studio Fetch came up with. I love her stuff and remember keep clicking until you make it back here. Have a good weekend everyone.
Did you know -
- Cancer is the #1 natural cause of death for dogs.
- 1 in 3 dogs will get cancer and half will die from it.
- One of the worst hit breeds are Golden Retrievers with 65% to 75% dying of cancer.
- Most pet owners find their dog has cancer when it is too late for successful treatment.
You can help change this by joining me in the Smile For A Cure Fundraiser. During August and September pet portrait sessions will be discounted to $125 per session and all proceeds dontated to The National Canine Cancer Foundation (a nationwide non-profit whose mission is to eliminate cancer as a major health prblem for dogs).
Book your session today by clicking on the “book now” link. Let’s find a way to end cancer for our dogs – they would do it for us!

I am a little behind in my posting of the most recent trips to Pt. Isabel. So to catch up I’m putting up the last two weekend trips with the dogs. We met lots of cool dogs – check it out.
Remember JoJo from three weekends ago? Well we ran into him again with his human and he was very ready to play. Where’s the ball????

And this is Lily – not my Lily, but another energetic pup with a great name (if I do say so myself)!

Here is a great pair – Jeffery and Cecil the American Dingo’s. No they aren’t trying to kill each other, they just really love to wrestle.

And this cutie is Sophie – love those eyes.

Meet Earl a bundle of brindle cuteness. Gotta love the little white tip on his tail.

How can you go wrong with a dog named Happy? That smile says it all.

Then I met Rupert who clearly wnated to make sure I took his pic! Another irresitable smile.

Lastly, we have Shasta and Abbey the Shelties. I have a soft spot for Shelties as I too used to have a sable and blue merle; long, long ago. Miss those guys, great dogs.

Thanks to all the humans for letting me snap these pics and to the City of Richmond and all the people who make Pt Isabel an outstanding dog park!
It has been awhile since I posted and I really struggled with this week’s theme of strange behavior. It was supposed to be pet related and try as I might I couldn’t catch the dogs doing anything strange this week, but I did photograph something I thought might count. They aren’t pets and perhaps they don’t qualify as strange (this was taken in San Francisco, after all), but it was very cool and a little strange to be out there filming in the cold and windy SF night with half naked people playing with fire. Check it out. I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed taking them.

OK, let’s see what Holly Montgomery came up with at www.brindleberryblog.com. Remember click through all the links until you get back to me. Have fun!
